How to Get a Library eCard?

During this COVID-19 pandemic, if you don’t want to come into the library to renew or get a new library card, you may apply for a temporary digital card to gain access to the library’s electronic resources.

Columbia Public Library has purchased subscriptions six different digital libraries. You can read and listen to eBooks and eAudiobooks on Overdrive, Cloud Library, rbDigital, and Hoopla. Hoopla also offers a wide selection of movies, TV shows, and music albums. If your daily routine involves reading the newspaper, take a look at NewsBank. The NewsBank archives includes not only nationally known newspapers, but some of our local papers, such as the Republic Times, Belleville-Democrat, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and Clarion Journals. Finally, now more than ever, many are working from home and are challenged to learn new professional skills. Browse the 6,200+ online continuing educational courses on Lynda.com.
