Public Meeting Room
Anyone residing within the Columbia city limits may fill out a request to book the downstairs meeting room for non-profit events and meetings. This is free, but the desired day or time may not be available, and library events will take precedence. The person who initially signed for the meeting or event must be present at it.
The library hosts a variety of programs for all ages, including storytimes, seasonal reading programs, author visits, book clubs, and informational sessions. All programs at the Columbia Public Library are free to attend, although some of them require registration.
To view our latest program calendar, stop by the library for a handout or click “Event Calendar” on the top menu bar of our website.
