Thank you for considering making a donation to the Columbia Public Library!

If you would like to make a financial contribution to the library, please speak to the Library Director. You may email Annette or call her at 618-281-4237 ext. 11. Financial donations are almost always used to purchase materials for our collection.

If you have books, movies, etc. that you would like to donate, we would be happy to take any that meet our donation guidelines:

• No more than 5 bags (NO BOXES – items must be grocery-bagged)
• Nothing older than 5 years
• Like new condition, no pen, marker, or crayon markings (a name inside the front cover is acceptable)
• No textbooks, encyclopedias, or magazines

While some donations are added into our collection, most are made available through our used book sale. All book sale proceeds go to the Friends of the Columbia Public Library, which helps fund library materials and programming. For questions about donating items, contact Anna at 618-281-4237, ext. 13.
